<div data-element-id="elm_-L1iFUgBQkmhXLx69K7LbA" data-element-type="text" class="zpelement zpelem-text "><style></style><div class="zptext zptext-align-center zptext-align-mobile-center zptext-align-tablet-center " data-editor="true"><div style="text-align:left;"><div><span style="font-size:18px;">When I launched my wind energy consultancy in August 2025, I started on a simple premise: the wind energy sector deserves more transparent, auditable, and reproducible analysis.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">After 18+ years spanning roles at several leading international corporations, I had seen first-hand that we were delivering robust work, but sometimes with enormous effort, because the underlying processes were complex, fragmented, and harder to sustain than they needed to be. I set out to find a better way: one that is more efficient, more precise, and <strong>frankly, more compatible with a life worth living</strong>.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">Many of you supported that launch in ways I didn't expect. Thank you - it confirmed that the mission resonated beyond my own conviction.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">Six months in, an administrative matter required a name change. I resolved it, chose a name built to last, and kept moving.</span></div>
<div><br/></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">Orangewind GmbH is now RUDORA GmbH (RdR). Same legal entity. Same founder. Same mission: <span style="color:rgb(229, 57, 53);"><span style="font-style:italic;">Driven by winds</span>, </span><span style="font-weight:bold;color:rgb(229, 57, 53);">powered by purpose.</span></span></div>
<div><br/></div><div><span style="color:rgb(76, 175, 80);font-size:32px;font-weight:700;">The Change</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">The name RUDORA reflects the thermodynamic creation of wind, literally.</span></div>
<div><ul><li><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>RUD-</strong> is drawn from the Proto-Indo-European root&nbsp;<span style="color:rgb(229, 57, 53);"><strong style="font-style:italic;">reudh-</strong></span>. Historically associated with &quot;red,&quot; it represents the original solar thermal energy that strikes the earth and sparks the atmospheric engine.&nbsp;</span></li></ul></div>
<div><ul><li><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>-ORA</strong> comes from the Latin&nbsp;<span style="font-style:italic;"><strong style="color:rgb(48, 4, 234);">ora</strong></span>&nbsp;- the atmospheric boundary where temperature differentials dictate planetary kinetic motion.</span></li></ul></div>
<div><br/></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">Just as solar thermal energy catalyses the atmosphere into motion, <strong>RUDORA</strong> exists to catalyse the efforts of our peers and clients: accelerating innovation and reducing project uncertainty through better tools and more rigorous process.</span></div>
<div><br/></div><h3><span style="font-size:20px;">The real update isn't the name</span></h3><div><span style="font-size:18px;">RdR's focus has sharpened. The current priority is clear: <span style="font-style:italic;"><strong>quality assurance for complex energy yield assessments and independent third-party reviews.</strong></span></span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">This is the work that sits between a wind project's technical assumptions and a financing decision. When a bank, an investor, or a developer needs confidence that the numbers are defensible, that's where RdR operates.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">But RdR also wants to be a sandbox: a place where clients and partners can explore uncharted territory together; testing new approaches, questioning established assumptions, and arriving at better results because the process itself is more rigorous and more open.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">In practice, this means contributing:</span></div>
<ul><li><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-weight:bold;">Independent EYA reviews</span> aligned with IEC 61400-15 and FGW Technical Guidelines, drawing on years of experience in third-party capacity review across a wide range of projects.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-weight:bold;">Traceable uncertainty budgets:&nbsp;</span>every assumption documented, every input versioned, every output reproducible.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-weight:bold;">Due diligence-ready deliverables:</span> deliverables, version-controlled workflows, and structured QA logs designed for lender and investor due diligence.</span></li></ul><div><br/></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">This isn't just about &quot;feeling more confident&quot; in the results. It's about providing supporting documentation where possible: building a clear trail of evidence so reviewers and decision-makers can double-check everything themselves. Staying grounded in the facts remains the top priority.</span><br/></div>
<div><br/></div><h3><span style="font-size:20px;">How we work</span></h3><div><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-weight:bold;">RUDORA</span> is founder-led. I hold the technical accountability for every deliverable directly.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">My experience spans onshore and offshore projects across multiple geographies.</span></div>
<div><br/></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">For multi-disciplinary projects, we work through a curated network of vetted specialists. Each partner operates under <span style="font-weight:bold;">RUDORA</span>'s QA framework: defined scope, peer review, traceable sign-off. This consulting-tech focus is balanced by my independent, part-time research role (with strict IP separation), keeping <span style="font-weight:bold;">RUDORA</span> grounded in current science while focused on real-world EYA challenges.</span></div>
<div><br/></div><h3><span style="font-size:20px;">Open standards and open tools</span></h3><div><span style="font-size:18px;">The open-source commitment from day one hasn't changed, it's become more focused.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">RdR is happy to collaborate with and support open-source initiatives in wind energy and wind resource assessment. This is what we mean by coopetition: collaborating on the infrastructure that makes everyone's work more credible, while competing on the quality of our own analysis. The tools are the commons. The expertise is the differentiator.</span></div>
<div><br/></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">RUDORA is not a new competitor entering the market. It's the same partner, now more focused, and contributing to the community.</span></div>
<div><br/></div><h3><span style="font-size:20px;">Operational updates</span></h3><div><span style="font-size:18px;">For existing clients and partners, nothing changes operationally:</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><div><h4><span style="font-size:18px;">What stays the same</span></h4></div></span></div>
<div><div><table style="margin-bottom:32px;"><thead><tr><td><strong>Category</strong></td><td><strong>Detail</strong></td></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><span><b>Legal entity</b></span></td><td><span>Same GmbH, same HRB 278311 B (Amtsgericht Charlottenburg)</span></td></tr><tr><td><span><b>Contracts</b></span></td><td><span>All existing agreements remain valid without amendment</span></td></tr><tr><td><span><b>Bank details</b></span></td><td><span>Unchanged</span></td></tr><tr><td><span><b>Services &amp; Contacts</b></span></td><td><span>Same founder, same direct line</span></td></tr><tr><td><span><b>Deliverable quality</b></span></td><td><span>Same QA process, same standards alignment</span></td></tr></tbody></table></div>

</div><div><span style="font-size:18px;font-style:italic;">If you need an updated commercial register extract or other endorsement reflecting the new name, reach out directly.</span></div>
<div><br/></div><div><h3><span style="font-size:20px;">What comes next</span></h3></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;"><span style="font-weight:bold;">RUDORA</span> will be prioritising depth over breadth:</span></div>
<div><br/></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">1. <span style="font-weight:bold;font-style:italic;">Strengthening QA automation for EYA reviews:</span>&nbsp;structured checks, reproducible pipelines, audit-logged workflows.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">2. <span style="font-weight:bold;font-style:italic;">Publishing open-source tools</span> that the broader community can use, test, and build on.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size:18px;">3. <span style="font-weight:bold;font-style:italic;">Continuing technical work</span> through international and national engagement with technical committees.</span></div>
<div><br/></div><div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">Over the past 18 years, I’ve seen too many skilled engineers lose focus on core analysis because they are bogged down by administrative overhead. I want our partners and reviewers to be able to clearly see how we reached our conclusions and feel confident challenging them. By streamlining our workflow, our analysts can focus their expertise on high-level problem-solving rather than repetitive, manual tasks.</span></div>
</div><div><br/></div><div><span style="font-size:18px;">Same wind. Sharper (and shorter) name. Back to work.</span></div>
